WOW! I had no idea I even updated this blog! Anywho, I'm now working with a 95 year old, so still no time. Its a non-paying job, but it does give me wheels so that I can get my own groceries. I had 2 weeks with no car and NO WAY for me to get my groceries. With the current bus situation, I'd have to plan to get my food - all perishables - at the right time so that I can get on the bus and get them home before they spoiled. Bus drops off and wouldn't come back for 2 full hours. Not doable! I don't know if that has changed as of late (August, 2018). BTW, the car is 20 years old and a rust bucket. However, I don't care because it does the job. I only have to drive 15 minutes for groceries. I go to Aldi's as they have better produce than Walmart or Cub.
Anywho, you can find me on Quizlet! Yes, tpkyteroo I think is my moniker there. I do have several classes on there and I can't be sued! I'm using Duolingo and Google translator (only of sorts though). I check everything against Duolingo's own secret dictionary that I have to find using Google's own search engine. :P
Polyglotting? Definitely check out my classes on Quizlet! I'm going to be making flashcard sets that use FL to FL over the next several months, starting in October (or September if I finish my current project soon enough). I'm working on my current project while playing Crazy 8's with my new best friend.

Original versus Couldn't prove original if I tried.
I never got far here because anyone can sue someone with brain damage that impacts a certain area of knowledge and win in court. I decided to wait until I have overlearned the words and their meanings such that no one could win in court by lying and taking advantage of my brain damage.
Wait for it. I am working out a schedule of learning that will help immensely now that my mother is in the nursing home. I didn't have time for the longest time! However, I did have to cancel Cable. Thus, I can't do the German immersion that I wanted to do, let alone the French and Spanish immersion. However, I can use youtube, and will. Give me a couple years. Um, maybe in 2020.

What is this weeks project?
I am working on the Word List code and navigation.
I hope to have it done by Tuesday, if Murphy wins. If Murphy loses, it will be done on Monday (non-australian time). ROFL

Foreign Language Word Games
The Word Games come in 2 types:
1) Vocabulary building with the intent to learn a Foreign Language
2) "Native Tongue Entertainment" games.
The Vocabulary building games will have a group of games using the same word lists in ALL 9 target languages, such that you can easily go back and forth between any language you want to, and still be dealing with words with the same meaning between the languages.
The "Native Tongue Entertainment" type games will allow you to build your memory of words in your native language. I shall attempt to find word lists for a particular popular word game in your native tongue, and use those word lists in many games. I shall also create my own word lists and make games using those word lists. Eventually, I might even find time to break down the word lists by "grade" level. Japanese is easy to do this with, but other languages, will be harder and will require me to find an appropriate website that gives me this information.
As I "prove" the right word, I shall make more Foreign Language learning Word Games. Currently, I am working out the correct "verb" for 9 target languages, to include Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
Random games will eventually be posted here, in English only or a combination of 2 different languages. I also intend to have games that are perfect for those who love to play a particular "Word board" game.
So, why don't I just say the copyrighted word? I live in Sue Happy America. Laws and owners can change without warning, and I'd rather play it safe. ;)
I'll post more news as I have something worth mentioning. Just be aware that as I am the only programmer on the site, I can't guarantee how long it will take me to get new games up. I shall try to get new stuff up in a timely manner.
CURRENT PROJECT: Word Finds
Word Find games will be made either Monday or Tuesday (assuming I don't forget again!)
